Include ACC’s logo on all correspondence, publications, (brochures, course schedules, catalogs, etc.), signage, advertising, merchandise, and other marketing and public relations materials. The exception to this rule is official business of the Board of Trustees, graduation diplomas, and transcripts, which use the College seal.
Do not change the typeface of the logo or alter the proportion or composition of the logo in any way. Follow these logo usage requirements:
- The logo must appear in its entirety.
- Do not use the star on its own, or use the College name in the typeface and configuration of the logo without the star.
- In a two-color application, both the star and the type should be solid color.
- Logos and lockups may only be represented in purple, black, or white.
- The vertical abbreviated logo is only approved for use when space is severely limited.
Minimum Size
Any version of the logo should be at least ¾ inch tall. Limited imprint areas should default to the abbreviated logo.
Clear Space
The ACC logos look best with ample clear space around them. Logos should have space on all sides that is at least the height of an uppercase C.
Incorrect Logo Usage
Presenting ACC’s brand identity consistently is essential. Do not modify logo artwork and avoid these common misuses:
Do not outline the logo.
Do not change the color of the logo beyond the approved colors.
Do not stretch, condense, or change the dimensions of the logo.
Do not rearrange elements of the logo.
Do not change the scale of elements in the logo.
Do not skew, warp, or set the logo on an angle.
Do not add extra elements or text to the logo.
Do not apply drop shadows or other visual effects to the logo.
Do not place the logo over a busy photograph or background.
Using Multiple Internal Logos or Marks
Do not use multiple ACC combination marks in the same piece. Instead, list the names of the ACC entities accompanied by the parent brand ACC District logo. See ACC Co-branding Guidelines for information about using the ACC logo with logos of other organizations.
