Austin Community College’s beloved mascot, R.B. the Riverbat, is an important part of the College’s brand. Through dozens of appearances yearly, R.B. serves as a another symbol of ACC’s mission and commitment to building a college-going culture.

R.B.’s image and likeness are trademarked and protected by copyright. Reproducing, drawing, or duplicating R.B.’s image or likeness in any form is strictly prohibited without explicit permission from the Office of College Relations & Marketing.
About R.B.’s Name
Because R.B.’s full name, R.B. Bbhoggawact, is mouthful, using initials is acceptable on all references. R.B.’s preferred pronouns are he/them/their.
Mascot Appearances

- While R.B. is available for appearances throughout the year, it may be more difficult to fulfill requests during the summer months.
- ACC may refuse a request if it is decided that the event or location is not suitable for an ACC mascot.
- The Office of College Relations & Marketing must pre-approve all event publicity materials that mention an appearance by R.B. (including logos). For approval, call 512-223-7595.
